Abdul El-Sayed just spent months and months campaigning on the idea of getting big money out of politics.
So what is one of the first things he did after the midterms on Tuesday? He launched a new PAC (political action committee) which will be all about keeping big money in politics – specifically for him and candidates he likes.
Hypocritical and dishonest? Yes. Does he care? No.
Do you think anyone in his party or the media is going to call him out over this? Of course they won’t.
He’s calling it the Habibi PAC.

The Hill has details:
El-Sayed launches Habibi PAC
Sen.-elect Abdul El-Sayed (D-Mich.) has launched Habibi PAC, his own political action committee, just days after punching his ticket to the upper chamber, Federal Election Commission filings show.
The leadership PAC, a committee not connected to his campaign and meant to raise money for his political allies, is the latest sign that El-Sayed aims to influence Democratic politics into the future. El-Sayed has used the word Habibi, an Arabic term of endearment meaning “my beloved” but often used more casually, to address his opponents in the wake of Tuesday’s win.
“JD, habibi,” El-Sayed said in his victory speech, addressing Vice President Vance who has harshly criticized the Michigander. “There is this delicious irony in the fact that you’re constitutionally obligated to swear me in in January.”
Arabic terminology and culture were present throughout the El-Sayed campaign as he pushed to become the first Muslim U.S. senator. Supporters often wore “Habibi for Abdul” shirts on the campaign trail.
An FEC filing shows that the first Muslim to be elected to the U.S. Senate has officially created the “Habibi PAC.”
You see what’s going on here, right?
This will fund more Islamists all around the country to conquer the U.S.

El-Sayed’s campaign was a test run for other candidates just like him.
Now that he has been declared winner, expect more of this in other places.
