What a crying shame Senator David Shoebridge is a member of the Greens. His questioning of senior ASIO staff about Israeli President Herzog accompanied by Mossad operatives allegedly visiting ASIO headquarters in Canberra is breath taking.
Shoebridge holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and his ability as a lawyer is outstanding in this grilling of the Deputy Director of our premier spy agency. Chairing the senate forum is Labor Senator Murray Watt, a former Brisbane solicitor who proffered a lame defence of the bureaucrats.
The ASIO representatives refused to answer most questions but it can be deduced from their non-replies that in fact Herzog and Mossad did attend their HQ no doubt to give the domestic spies their marching orders for protecting Israelis in Australia.
Shoebridge like any good lawyer would not have persisted with his clever line of questioning if he didn’t already have the answer.
