One Nation’s David Farley has stormed to victory in the closely watched Farrer federal by-election with the incumbent centre-right Liberal Party losing the seat it has held since 2001.
The sprawling regional seat spans most of south-west New South Wales and has been held by either the Liberal or National parties—both Coalition partners—since 1949.
