IS it “hopium” or actual inside knowledge? It’s hard to know, given the type of information that emerged online around the early days of the Trump administration and now AI fakery..
But what we do know is that while the National Guard has been continuously deployed in Washington, D.C. since August 2025, the mobilization has been significantly ramped up in the last few days.
One veteran podcaster (see below) says it looks like preparations are being made for war.
On November 5, details emerged regarding two Pentagon memos signed on October 29 by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that expand the scale, equipment, and authority of the roughly 3,100 Guard troops currently stationed in the capital.
The Guard has been cleared to patrol city streets using 60 marked National Guard patrol cars, Humvees, tactical vehicles, and portable light towers. Two patrol boats are also being deployed on the Potomac and Anacostia rivers to support maritime law enforcement.
In reaction to the ramp-up, the Washington DC municipal council’s Public Safety chairwoman Brooke Pinto said the council would petition newly elected Democratic governors to immediately recall their states’ troops when they take office in January. Outside states currently supply over 2,300 of the 3,100 troops active in the city.
Hegseth also released a video message on Friday saying “the next few months and years are critical for our department and our republic”.
“This is about the President’s America-first agenda, this is about our department’s peace through strength agenda, and in just two short years under the leadership of President Trump, we have restored the Department of War to its core function … we ripped out DEI, fired failed leaders and restored deterrents all around the globe, revived recruiting to historic levels and we are rebuilding our military and defense-industrial base – bigger and better.”
So why is Hegseth acting as if nothing happened at the mid-term elections, and why, in the midst of a rant against transgenderism, DEI and diversity, did he drop the line “Patriots are now in control.”?
The context was this statement:”Strong young men who believe in something greater than themselves are admirable. Patriot extremism is not a thing. Patriots are now in control.”
Hegseth is currently a prime target for Democrats as well as some Republicans like Thomas Massie who announced plans to relaunch impeachment proceedings against him.
So was Hegseth merely talking himself up in the face of impeachment opposition from the re-empowered Democrats, or was he talking about something else?
According to keyboard warriors in the US, President Trump, while supposedly suffering a stinging defeat and losing control of both the US House of Representatives and the Senate, has actually set a trap for the election riggers he has loudly complained about around recent mid-term and presidential elections.
Those making the claim appear to be largely Q-anon followers, the informal community of patriots that formed around the mysterious coded messages supposedly sent by an anonymous person claiming to be a high-ranking government insider with “Q-level” security clearance who posted cryptic messages called “drops” on 4chan and later, 8chan.
Allen Lee posted on X: “If he makes noise right now, the Communists come out to riot and burn. They are being lulled into a false sense of security, while the walls are quietly built around them.
“Cell phones tracked, IP addresses logged, money tracked, ballots audited, and criminal cases built. 45 days to the ODNI (Office of the Director of National Intelligence) report! Then the cage door is locked behind them!”
Rumble podcast veteran Phil Godlewski said he and many others “felt” something was going down before the midterms and the big losses left many of them “pissed off”. But now he has news for them.
“We thought the main goal of the mid-terms was to win the mid-terms. No. …..I think he (Trump) let the mid-terms happen. I told you last week there were calls to cancel the mid-terms. That was real and he didn’t … I think he chose plan B or plan A, I don’t know, maybe C for that matter,” said Godlewski.
“He let the mid-terms go down and now there are preparations being made for what looks like a war.
“And I don’t want to scare you guys when I say war … and I’ve been ready for this for many years, and it holds more weight now than ever – you guys gotta be prepared for a little bit of a shutdown because I don’t think this is going to be easy.”
Godlewski advised his audience to stock up with food and water for 30 days. He said even mainstream media had posted warnings along these lines in recent days.
He also noted the 316-point $2.1 trillion loss on the US stock market S&P 500 on Friday.
Could this be the final showdown between Trump and the globalists? Or is it something much more mundane – the supposed failure of a president to galvanize the nation behind him. Time will tell.
